Training and Supervision - Existential Psychotherapy

[Note: This program is designed for clinical or counseling psychology graduate students who are enrolled in master's degree in psychology or related fields, or have completed their master's degree as well.]

The training and supervision program is spread across 6 months to learn and practice from the Existential School of Psychology with their clients. During this duration, the trainees will be under constant supervision by experienced therapists.

Starting - Mid - June (Tentatively)

Last Day to Register - June 1, 2024

Duration: 6 months

Enrollment Fees: Rs. 20060 (Inclusive of GST)

Applicants can make payments in full or in two instalments (at the time of registration and mid-training).

Max Intake: 4 graduate students

Prerequisite to Joining the Program:

Enrollment or completion of a Master's degree in Psychology or related fields
Successful completion of training in the Humanistic Approach.
OR 1 year or 100 hours of client sessions using traditional therapeutic approaches.
The trainees must be in therapy themselves.

Training in the Essentials of Therapy in Practice
Understanding Therapy
Applications and incorporation of the Existential school of thought and practice within the therapeutic context
Participation in Case Discussion and Analysis
Shadow work in therapy
Simulation practices
Peer Supervision
Maintaining client records and session notes
Understanding and Handling the therapist's mental health issues
